We prefer to have a group size of not more than 12 persons for a more individual experience, so please book early to ensure your place.

Dates: April 20th; May 11th; June 15th; July 20th; August 10th; September 21st
We will be including trips to various places around Dorset, West Hampshire and the New Forest.

WEEKLY COURSES -Tuesday or Wednesdays - Summer courses now running but look out for details of our courses starting again in the Autumn.

FIELD TRIPS

BIRDS, BUTTERFLIES AND ORCHIDS Sunday 25th May 10.30 - 15.00 Cost £12 per person - 3 Places Available
Martin Down Nature Reserve is an excellent chalkland area to explore searching for birds including the elusive Nightingale and Turtle Dove, Lesser Whitethroats plus of course Common Whitethroat, Yellowhammers and butterflies like the Grizzled Skipper and Marsh Fritillary.

NIGHTJAR EVENING (EAST DORSET) Friday 6th June 08.45 - 10.00 p.m. Cost £6 per person - 2 Places Available
Meeting at Whitesheet Plantation car park, Holt Heath for Nightjars and Woodcock.

DORSET HEATHLAND AT MORDEN BOG Saturday 7th June 09.30-12.00 Cost £6 per person - 2 Places Available
We will be looking for many breeding birds in this area Warblers, Woodpeckers, Woodlarks and Tree Pipits.

TITCHFIELD HAVEN Friday 20th June 10.00 - 15.00 Cost £12 per person(not including entrance fee)
Will the Avocets breed again at Titchfield this year? Join us to find out and find out what other birds and wildlife that can be seen on this delightful reserve.

SPRING WALK IN THE NEW FOREST Saturday 28th June 09.30 - 12.00 Cost £6 per person
A walk from Beaulieu Road Station looking for many of the heathland and woodland birds that breed
here including Redstarts, Warblers, Larks and Pipits and there is always a good chance of seeing Hobby.

FOREST AND COAST Friday 4th July 09.30 - 15.30 Cost £12 per person
Starting at Acres Down, this is one of the best sites in the New Forest for watching birds of prey and we will look for Honey Buzzard though this bird can be very elusive. After a pub lunch (optional) we will visit Keyhaven and Pennington Marshes on the for terns and early returning waders.

PURPLE EMPERORS AT BENTLEY WOOD Cost £6 per person
Sunday 13th July - 11.00 a.m. - 2.00p.m. - A butterfly walk at Bentley Wood, Wiltshire, approx 10 miles from Romsey and 13 miles Salisbury. Our target species is the Purple Emperor but we should see many other species.


Please note: Car parking charges and lunches are not included. Please allow for sessions to overrun. Sometimes we can arrange car sharing - please ask.
